Well done, Croswynd. You'll see this message at some point, I guess.

In the event of a tie, a psychic snail will make the conclusive vote. If one is unavailable, a judgement call will be made by the organiser as the tiebreaker. 2016 arena is best arena. Oooh, maybe as winners they get to write the introductions for Round 2?[/quote] I also want to encourage the organizer, whoever that ends up being, to try to group people with as diverse competitors as possible in the first two rounds and, to a lesser extent, the semifinals.

That quote has been in the schedule for years. In fact, I'm not even sure who came up with it. I'm not sure if it was Kwan, Dragon or myself. Oh, that's a great idea! Also, people should start writing "introductions" for the first round now. Let's have some really great beginnings for this competition.

Best intro for this competition was Pete's Manoel the Vampire. I loved that beginning, I wrote that story with such joy, it gave me a great end product and I'm still trying to sell the thing every now and then because god dammit I think it's great.

Oh man, the vampiric donut shop guy. I forgot all about that. Haha. Oh man. I hope we get some beginnings like that one.

One of my intros is it at risk of running away from me. You guys okay with a 600 word intro?

Also, I tried to make sure there's always a weekend for writing to happen but I've realised just now that I might have fucked that up for Zovo... Don't worry about me, I'm going to try not to limit myself to weekends anyhow. I'm excited. I've even got a desk calendar now where I'm tracking my word-counts and marking competition dates and shit. I'm getting organized, baby.

Oh, wait. I probably shouldn't say any of that considering this is all anonymous.

It's much appreciated, Sensar! Basically, it comes down to:
- Picking the best introductions people send you for the matches. - Deciding the make-up of the matches. - PMing people their introductions for their story. - Receiving the stories by PMs and posting them. - Receiving the reviews from people and posting them.
Looking at an old Arena should clear up any issues and we're on hand if you have any questions.
I'll clean up the Arena board so we can get ready for the 10th.
Rinse and repeat.
