Numbers aren't looking good for this round. I'm just hoping we're all pulling a Zovo this round.

A: Are we still working on the basis that people can still submit until the scores actually go up? Otherwise, this round was disappointing.
B: Workaday. SERIOUSLY PETE? ARE YOU ENJOYING THE SUFFERING?

ARE YOU ENJOYING THE SUFFERING? If someone submits before I put scores up, I will accept it. And... and yeah, yeah I am. HEYMAN. I make these topics for the same reason my judging scores are lower than anyone else's. If this competition isn't helping you be a better writer, even a little bit, then I'm failing as its host.

One might make the argument though that some topics should be more open so as to ensure on a higher amount of participants. If one was being passive aggressive. Which one is most certainly not.

Although, as I scribble down an idea, I am enjoying the fact that I haven't touched the 'speculative' fictions yet. I do want to write more in different genres outside of fantasy, sci-fi and horror.

Oh bugger ... totally got my deadlines wrong Thought deadline was tonight and not last night {Edit: posted it in a spoiler. Honestly though I had one more day to edit. That story was finished yesterday but I wanted to check it one more time. I've only just got up and I feel like crap warmed up and I've only just found out I missed the deadline. If you want to disqualify it ... go ahead. I did write something. I did. I tried. Whatever. Won't be any good any way. You won't like it.}

Have an idea, kind of, for workaday... it's fanfiction again but it's the first thing that came to mind...
It's either that or a day in the life of a superhero.

Whatever. Won't be any good any way. You won't like it. Pete. We've got to design some self-esteem and enjoyment programme or something. And nah, you won't be disqualified, Pete said the deadline is until he actually posts his judgments.

Sorry I got all emotional and low-confidence-y. I panicked and got really upset at knowing I missed the set-deadline. The last grade also kicked my ass a little >.> Being ill didn't help the situation.
Bright side, think I have a draft for this story already. Taken to handwriting stories at work. Less suspicious than sending random word documents, when I shouldn't be using the internet/e-mail for personal reasons, and it's reusing paper. It's somehow satisfying although takes a lot of effort and an achy arm!
