If I know what duties are part of it I might just do that instead. Not 100% sure yet though. I mean it isn't like I'd be doing much in the arena anyway as a first or (if extremely lucky) second round knockout.

Like the secretive idea though I think I'd worry constantly about who I was actually up against XD

You put yourself down too much, Dyl. Your work in my Halo RP was excellent..

Okay, Ceron, I lol'd pretty badly. Dyl - agreed! If I knew I was up against Zovo or Kaez I'd end up fluffing it (see Cup - I got so worked up about writing against Taed I ended up strangling my creativity!) Not knowing would stop me from strangling. I probably wouldn't fret so much either once its posted. Less grey hairs = win in my book! Hehehe. See, I tend to be the opposite; knowing I'm up against someone who's writing I really respect puts me in kill mode. This. When I found out I was up against both Taed AND Ali in the Cup, I did everything I could to try and beat them.

Ah, but you guys are missing one important factor! I worry too much. You don't! I still loved your story for that match, Drall

Ah, but you guys are missing one important factor! I worry too much. You don't! Lies! I simply worry constructively. If there is something I'm concerned about, I look at it, I tweak it, and I alter it until I'm less worried, or even confident about it. It's one of the reasons my submissions tend to come in late; because I'm making little fixes all the time. When we get to that point this month I'm pretty sure Schro will yell at me.

Ah, but you guys are missing one important factor! I worry too much. You don't! I still loved your story for that match, Drall Thanks Looking back, I liked it too. It was a great challenge, and it pushed me to write well. Not knowing who your opponent is presents a new sense of mystery. You don't know who you're up against, which means you can't take one match easy. You never know who you're up against.

We just need somebody to handle all the secrety stuff who isn't a member of the competition... Hello, there! And yes, I love the idea of keeping the results secret. The idea of no one knowing who's been progressing until we announce a winner is epic.

Or what ever. I feel a little like I hi-jacked your idea.

Wouldn't the people who lost know? You'd know that you've lost, but you wouldn't know who you've lost to, and you don't have to start telling everybody, "I LOST I'M OUT!" The only problem I see is voting for yourself.

Wouldn't the people who lost know? Yeah, they'd knwo that they are no longer writing. but they wouldn't know who they lost to, nor who else lost/won; unless people go blabbing about it. It's not really an issue. Say for instance I'm writing against you. I don't know you're you, you don't know I'm me. We both vote for ourselves and against our opponents, so our votes cancel eachother out. No big deal.

B is impossible for almost everyone on the forum.
