And yes, I love the idea of keeping the results secret. The idea of no one knowing who's been progressing until we announce a winner is epic. Bleh! But I want to know who progresses forwards and who leaves at what stage! >.<

B)) If we're leaving feedback, we'll have to actually... review our own story? We could send the feedback through Agro/whoever as well, and either have it be posted anonymously or just PMd to the original writer. Or we could have all of the feedback sent to Agro/whoever and then posted at the end of the contest.

Yeah, they'd knwo that they are no longer writing. but they wouldn't know who they lost to, nor who else lost/won; unless people go blabbing about it. It's not really an issue. Say for instance I'm writing against you. I don't know you're you, you don't know I'm me. We both vote for ourselves and against our opponents, so our votes cancel eachother out. No big deal. A)) We'll have to be sure to remind everyone: ALWAYS VOTE FOR YOURSELVES! B)) If we're leaving feedback, we'll have to actually... review our own story? A.) No. if you like your opponents work better you can throw the match and vote against yourself. B.) Yeah. Why not; just don't review it in first person. It'd be a good exercise.

This. When I found out I was up against both Taed AND Ali in the Cup, I did everything I could to try and beat them. I wasn't too worried going against Ali 'cos I'd neer really come across her at all. Didn't know what she wrote like. Going up against Meleta? I felt like I was signing my own death warrant XD Also, like the idea of it being totally secretive. Would people know how many votes they got? Would they get a PM saying they're out or just guess that they are when they realize they didn't get another starter sent to them? XD

That sounds like the best idea

XD All feedback and votes would be PM'd to Agro and he'd post it -- so a person would know exactly how many votes they got and have their feedback. If you lose, just don't go telling everyone that you lost -- let's have no OOC discussions about who is in and who is out, just to prevent this knowledge from surfacing.

Especially when either of us gets "killed"! I get the feeling that I'm gunna end up writing against you without knowing it XD That would be rather...ironic.. meh xD (just wanted to use the word ironic again) XD

I don't know what the situation exactly is with the contestants voting thing... But if we're supposed to vote for our own piece, what happens if we think the other one is much better than ours? I could not vote for myself if that were the case.

If you'd rather vote for someone else's, vote for someone else's. If you'd rather vote for your own, vote for your own.

...Wait, I'm so confused. Why are we voting for our own pieces?
