Hey kids, with the competition starting last month, this is a good time to tally up your word counts and get this thing back on track.
Personally, though I fell off in July and didn't do much in August either aside from some rough drafts that never got here; jumping up over 10k for September feels good and that extra 4k words is a good first step to getting myself back on track for my 120,000-word goal for the year (88,669 / 90,000 so far).

My D&D character creation guide was 16,700 words. Probably 5k of those were stolen from D&D, but I definitely cracked the 10,000 mark in September.

EDIT: Nope! Several of those things were written at the end of September (man, I probably had nearly 20k in September).

My October count is currently 2,493.

I think the 10,000 Club, while stalling badly in the second half of the year, showed a lot of potential. Are we keen to do it again next year? Should we even make it some type of competition (the person who wrote the most words, plus any words written for reviews, wins the month)?
