... well, that's a heck of a start. What are you working on? It's just from another one of those 24 hour theater things. This makes four now. It's tremendous fun.

I think I might really struggle to hit 10,000 this month, but I don't want to count my Masters work so I guess I'll see how it goes.

4,076 words
And you better count that, James, if you want to succeed.

And you better count that, James, if you want to succeed. I'm not really succeeding, though, if I do count that. I'm not using the 10,000 Club to write 10,000 words every month. Between work and study, I've been doing that for a long time. I'm doing the 10,000 Club to make sure that I'm still doing stuff as "a writer". Counting my Masters work is the opposite of succeeding.

The 10,000 is for you to do whatever you want to do when setting a target.

I have no idea what you're even saying now...

I have no idea what you're even saying now... Last time I mentioned word count, and academic work, you made the almost word for word same statement. Also, by doing that, and focusing only on the sarcastic bit, I felt a little worse about it.

I'm at about 4,000 words. Hmm. Going to be tough to make it, but maybe...
