I've already ran through several ideas and I think one is beginning to form. I always feel the need to settle on something early to give myself time to write. It's the only thing I don't like about the deadline: a lack of freedom to really let the idea float around for a while.

I'm also entertaining myself by thinking which writer would prefer which beginning.
