See James! People want the prompt ... people want the monthly challenge even if just for an excuse to write. When does the April prompt get posted?

I've started reading the stories now. So hurry up if you want to submit something; you do probably have another day because Sekot's story is quite long.

Both stories read. Some thoughts jotted down. I just need to write them up in more of a review rather than directionless thought.
This is your 24 hours warning bell. This time tomorrow I'll be posting the reviews.

Read the review. Really, really appreciate it. I was worried I wasn't going to make the characters work, or that they'd come off as not real enough. I certainly wanted the sci-fi elements to remain in the background so I'm glad that worked, it puts my mind at ease going forward. I wish I had finished it, or edited it, but I've already begun working from the ground up and hopefully I can turn it into something good.

Thank you James, for hosting and judging this contest. I like these contests because they give me motivation to write and I also know that someone is going to read it, even though that someone is only the judge. I also greatly appreciate the honest critique because that is what I need for growth and improvement.
I am a little disappointed with the contest’s attendance. However, after browsing around the website, it seems that apathy is not unique to this assignment. I wish I had a magic formula to make everyone here let go and immerse themselves in reading and writing but I don’t, but worse, I cannot even find it within myself. I guess life just gets in the way of our creative enthusiasms.

But the admins are still trying to find something else that'll work just as well. Hopefully they can with the coming Writing Faire.

I also think we're actually having a little more writing done already. This competition was always going to be a risk because it came off the back of a 3 months competition and people may have just needed a break.
