Yeah, if anything I think I'll have to make my goal something a little more realistic. I'm going to be having so little time most days to write anything. An hour is not enough for 1,667 words. John Creasey wrote six hundred novels in his lifetime, and died when he was 65. That means he had about 15,695 days to write that many novels, after you subtract the amount of time he spent not getting anything published, and not accounting for leap years. So, if you divide 15,695, the number of days he was alive and publishing novels, by the number of novels he wrote, 600, you get about 26. That means he finished each novel in less than a month, making him a NaNoWriMo winner for about forty-three years straight. Case in point, if he did all that, I'm sure you can find time in your day to write about 1,667 words. I've been pretty busy this week, it's the end of term so the teachers are cramming in as many tests and projects as they can. I also need to go to bed early or else I won't wake up until 10 the next day, so there's even more time gone.

I'm still incredibly disappointed in the Toronto NaNo community for not naming themselves "ToRoNaNoWriMo." That's just all kinds of missed opportunities right there. Any name that you can seamlessly read in a Judoon accent is instantly a winner.

... forgetting what colour your character's eyes are and trying to remember exactly where you mentioned them before. Fuuuuuuck. Me too! What was her mom's name? DAMMIT. Just going to call her mom (and put three "*" next to it).

Canberra NaNoWriMo seem to just drink and party. I have three emails for three consecutive days in a row that invite me to go drinking at the labour club.

Alright, 1,732 words today. And still at least one more writing session left in me for today.

Starting from scratch and I'm at 2,088 words. I'll have to write another 4,500 or so tomorrow if I want to get caught up. Gonna post an excerpt when I get through with the second chapter.
I'll actually be really interested to get some feedback. About 500 words in I dropped into a really informal style without really realizing it, and I think it's working out well so far. I think the humour is landing pretty much right where I want it to.

I'll actually be really interested to get some feedback. ... I've been waiting for you to start writing this for months. You were going to get some feedback whether you wanted it or not.

I was at 2,094 words per day average ... and then we had that visit and the RPG >.< Seems that I don't get the chance of a nice buffer this year! Hopefully the weekend can bring that nice buffer back XD Still on track and my plot is slowly forming! Lots of things suddenly happening that I didn't plan for but are totally awesome twists on the original idea.
