From NaNo-Mail conversation Show some love for Alice. Back-up your own novel! Is there anything we can do? >.< Don't know if she lost the novel or just the days ... but it's still pretty fucked up!

I was at 2,094 words per day average ... and then we had that visit and the RPG >.< Seems that I don't get the chance of a nice buffer this year! Hopefully the weekend can bring that nice buffer back. I'm hoping the same thing.

Oh, man, that's the worst. So hard to recreate what has been written and lost. Hopefully it was just the two days because that's bad enough. Heart goes out to Alice.

*hugs*
It chose a perfect time to screw up on me. It 'might' get seen to on Monday. Though it might decide it's beyond compare this time.
I found some of the first day's stuff, which wasn't much. Basically just opened it in wordpad (eventually found) and wrote *Missing Text* and carried on. I don't care. If I get it back great if I don't I'm screwed. With a bit of wishful thinking I'll be able to find some time to write more that the 50k so....
I don't know whats more annoying. The fact that I cant remember what was said in the conversation I now need to refer back to or the fact that I don't have a word counter.... or it might even be the fact that the keys on the keyboard of this old junk work in a completely different way... @asnd@ he said... Gah!
This month just isn't going well for me >.< Already

Well. . . I've got a breif description of what I'm working on up there...
Anyone who tried to "Buddy" me and couldn't because of that might be able to now.

Right, a thousand words in a single hour. I'm really happy with that. Finished an entire chapter in just one and a half days.
I'll hopefully hit 2,000 words again today. In fact if I can keep up 2,000 words a day then I could have the entire book finished by around the 20th!
Now I'll just have to hope that there won't be too many distractions.

3,350 in two days. Exactly where I need to be .... if I wasn't already two days behind.

Hmm, not sure I'm going to get this done on time. By no means am I quitting, but I think I'm not going to worry about the time limit.

Sitting at one of the local meets... suceeding in 449 words in an hour and a half. Distraction central! Huzzah! :] Just going to start my daily lot now. Been shopping this morning and to a local farmers market and watched Idiot Abroad and did pancakes and put the slow cooker on for another beef stew >.> Think that is just about every which way I could procrastinate out of the way. Oh, and instead of working on my word-count last night I watched about four episodes of Farscape >.> The last 2 in the first series and first 2 in the second. Been doing marathons of them. Might be persauded later into getting onto Skype for an on-line write thing :]

You're heading into awesome territory. The middle two seasons are the best. Lots of action and weirdness. And you're only a few episodes away from meeting Harvey.

Got some writing done yesterday. Changed directions after about 1500 words into my original project and opted to focus on another idea I've been brewing for a while. Did about 4000 words in the new direction and it may become a novel after all. probably gonna have to fatten it up with adjectives though.
