I'm actually contemplating having the day off from writing Phantoms. It's 3:30pm and I haven't written anything today. I need to write a short 500 word story concerning Anglo-Saxons by tonight as well. Anyway, I'm not going to hit 50,000 words. If I stick to my outline I'm only going to end up with 40-42,000 words for November so I don't really have to worry about keeping up with the graph. My only concern is if I have a day off today will that end up with me taking an even longer break. That's what I keep doing. I'm WAY behind, writing in bursts, but never consistently. It's been a weird year. I've won this stupid thing 5 times and this year I think not. Should be called NaNoWriMos and give us December too!

Personally, I'm making it a goal to write at least 1k words for the rest of my career. I doubt I'll hold to it, but I've gotten so much writing done this month that I just want to keep going after NaNo! It's addicting to be able to write this fast and still have people enjoy my work.

QFT ... also, took today off to do some Christmas shopping and lots of writing. Turns out I've done lots of Chrismas shopping and looked at my novel once. I haven't even put any words down yet. Bugger >.> Knackered from the shopping! (Although I did find an awesome knitted dress. It is amazing! Love it! So toasty as well. Goes with jeans or just black tights. Brilliant!)

Yeah, I want to keep on trying to write a thousand a day even once Phantoms is done. I'm going to have to edit it but I'm also going to start work on a collection of Short Story concerning Vinnie and DCI Collingwood in a Sherlock Holmes format. And kick off a proper attempt with a script.

And kick off a proper attempt with a script. I don't think I could keep up the 1k per day thing ... but more writing than before NaNo would be good! Also, Agro, you could try Script Frenzy. Think it's in April? It's another NaNotypething but based on number of pages and it can be any kind of script.

However April is when the first bout of assignments usually come out for the University Year, so I'll have to see.

Let me know if you do. I wanted to try it one year (the year after my first NaNo) but wimped out. I do still have a pretty interesting comic in mind that could be challenging :]
Also, word count moved: YAY! Turns out word-waring with pancakes is fun :] I see how many words I can squeeze in before I need to flip a pancake. Sourdough is alive and going nuts again!

Apparently, now that he's done with the Eragon books, he's going do something in science fiction. I felt a cold knife in my heart when I heard that news. I'm just holding out hope that, since he's already done Star Wars with dragons, his next project will be Lord of the Rings with spaceships, because that would actually be pretty badass.

I picked up the last Eragon book and read the first page. I had to put back down; I couldn't bring myself to read it. I used to love his books... What did you do to me?

I looked up 'Eragon Star Wars' to find a suitable image to mock you with... I did not know that the second book is basically a rip-off of Empire Strikes Back. Seriously, man? How did that guy get a way with it?

I did not know that the second book is basically a rip-off of Empire Strikes Back. Is it actually? I think I read the second book when I was younger but I don't remember it, like, at all. I vaguely recall him training with elves in the woods, so that's obviously Dagobah ..... yeah, that's all I remember. Are there more similarities?

It had some definite similarities, nothing like the first book and A New hope.
