I'd love to be published. More than anything else in the world.
But do I think I will? No way to know. Can only hope. I've relied on only opinions of friends so far, I don't really know what most people will think of it.
I -do- think we've got some folks on AWR capable of getting published though. Definitely.

If I write a historical fiction book in the ancient world then Socrates gets the nod in front of you. ... Not the actual Socrates...my Classical Studies teacher who we called Socrates. |

Actually, assuming I did dedications, and assuming what was published was the book I was writing right now, I'd only have three dedications: the NaNo folks, AWR, and my father.
The only other people who impacted my love for fantasy or this specific piece would be authors.

You know, before I move on with my life, forget who you are and lose interest in reading it.  Not saying it wouldn't be interesting, only that, unless I knew you "Thus Spoke Pete" wouldn't be the kind of title which would draw my attention without a recommendation. And if it was a series that became really popular, I'd probably avoid it on principle. |
