38.5K... And I'm finally leaving this planet after 12,386 words.
And on to Ellie's turn to leave the story. At least until the epilogue. John won't leave it until just before the epilogue. Mason will leave it after the epilogue... And the two military people will disappear until the epilogue shortly...
Seems that everyone has a sad-ish ending...

Figured that would probably be the case. Sounds like your ending is pretty tragic and emotional. I expect many tears will fall. Really do hope you get published. You, Kaez, Bloodeye and Agro  Under a hundred away from 40k. Bloody nervous about crossing that line too :S heh. The end is near folks. Not as nervous as I was on 5k. |

I'm pretty sure that I can get published, the only factor is when, how, and with which story. As for Kaez... I think, just so that I don't have to look for his name on shelves, he should put "Kaez" in between his names, like a nickname. Then we'd all go, "Oh look! It's Kaez!" And go read his books.  You'll do fine, Reffy. For all you know, you'll do what I'm going to do to my ending, draw it out for as long as possible... Ease the reader back into real life. Should work out nicely, especially since I'm tearing up just thinking about the ending and how it would look were it a movie... |

Haha. Agreed. We need to use real names as Authors and then a side-note for pen-names Means my name would be extra long coz I have 1 pen-name (Reffy), 1 web-name (Ditzy) and 1 real name (Jenny) (Been considering changing my pen-name to my web-name since I was originally Ditzy) Also, 40k!  And yes - dragging out ending nice and slowly. Got a lot to sort out and set straight. Ending started around 35k heh. |
