awritersrecluse.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=evern&action=display&thread=3132This one. It could just be the cleanliness of yours versus this one, or just the shape or size. As it is right now, all I need is one continent, not even an entire world. And like, the relative size of Australia too. I just need deserts in the southern portion, and the rest be whatever fits where. It's starting to bother me. Edges. You need details on your coasts -- you're working with straight, flat lines.

Yeah, on paper I do have those edges, in my head they're the squigly lines that all maps have. On paper I softened some of the coast to differentiate between beaches and cliffs.

Major stylistic difference is major.

Major stylistic difference is major. Indeed. Also, my scanner sucks. Eh, I'll stick with my rough maps for the story writing, maybe spruce it up after NaNo.

Yeah, I mean, I'd gladly make a map for you, but I'd much rather you master the art of making your own. It's tons of fun.

Listened to some of the languages yesterday! How on Earth did you manage to pronounce all of that? Pretty whacky and fun and -very awesome-! That would be me. Who also created the elven and draconic languages.

The last week has been fairly busy, but I've got some good work going towards the Horse Clans, the founding of Rosia and their religion, the magic in the world (the proper spell-slinging kind) and Jordoom has kindly decided to lend me a hand with working on the Dwarves.
Good stuff coming up over the new while. :]

... is it made by the dead? Take a look around if you'd like. Most of the information is stored up in AIM logs, but there's some stuff here -- namely in the Cosmology thread. I've got a serious work in progress going on here. Going to leave it locked until I get things more cleaned up and posted.
