I was all ready to explode into a fit of tears... I don't know if I should mention it, but I see something. I get what you're looking at...meh, kinda pushing it, but whatever. I wish I drew maps as well as Kaez

I wish I drew maps as well as Kaez Just unbutton your pants, look down, and draw what you see! I kid, I kid; I, too, wish I could draw as well as you do Kaez. You're quite the cartographer.

ALSO: That's a map I just did for a friend of mine. I think it came out pretty well, too. The icebergs at the top, I'm really pleased with. Going to have to put those in some maps in the future.

I like those icebergs.
You could use a very similar method to make your mountain ranges really "pop" too.

I like those icebergs. You could use a very similar method to make your mountain ranges really "pop" too. Yeah, I was thinking about that myself. Next time I make a map, I'll try that out. ALSO: You don't have to read that one PM I sent you, I changed my mind on it. Just focus on Wolves. I wrote up a brief idea of the reworking of it that encompasses a modified version of that PM anyway. :]

Will do. You're right behiond KoB on my "to read" list. No rush. I basically just need to know what the strong points and weak points of it were, from a respected outside opinion, so that when re-reading it myself, I can see how to improve all across the board and write, hopefully, a much, much better rendition this time around.

Kaez, in the impossible advent that I ever write a fantasy book worth looking at, I'll be damned if I don't have you draw the map.

Kaez, in the impossible advent that I ever write a fantasy book worth looking at, I'll be damned if I don't have you draw the map. ;D From what I've heard, no matter how much you like your own map, book publishing companies will -always- have their own artist draw a map. So, in the event I ever got something published, I probably wouldn't be able to use my own maps. >.<
