40,000. Going to be a fun three days. Eesh! Not going to be easy. Good luck! Sitting at just under 47k here. Hoping to get to 50k. Getting close to running out of story! You'll get it done! If all else fails, an extended LOTR epilogue. And yeah, we'll see, just came to a revelation of the story I WANTED to write last night...and this one isn't it. |

Would be crazy to run out of story just under 50k! Heh. Hopefully get it done tomorrow. Just crawled over 47 now. Would rather not have stuff to write on the last day. Have usually crossed the finish line by now.

Also, am killing MC because I hate him and he should DIAF! So far only survivor is going to be lass who runs The Last Resort bar. |

Also, my word count told me I was on 50,076 and I validated it, and it told me I only had 49,721 so I had to go back for one final stint.
The 50,000 mark coincided with the first big death of the novel.
I think there's probably 25,000 words left to go. The goal is to have it done by Christmas and then not look at the fucking thing until at least March or something.

Not sure it will get me writing again but has proved I can still be creative and with good time management can still do things like this! Was nice to get away from fog of work and such  |
