Kaez doesn't believe in negotiating with terrorists.
Speaking of, if anyone finds them self in Chicago, I'm pretty sure they're holding me somewhere underneath Michigan Av.

The issue is that people are doing what they're supposed to be doing, right? Okay, sure, reviews are late, shit happens, but no matter the reviews the task of the team is to get the stories in, otherwise it's not a competition at all and Team Zovo gets all the points, and, more importantly, the feedback when the judges do have the time to review. Rather than pin the issues you're facing on the judges, look inward. This only hurts what you want in the long run, and I imagine isn't making your teammates very happy about the fact you're flailing accusations in public, either. My issue is that I don't think the rounds are complete unless the reviews are in, so why not delay to give the judges time to judge so we can all move forward to the next round? I haven't been participating, so this whole matter is a bit opaque to me, but looking at the schedule, the next round has always been posted before the last writing period was done. There's nothing about a review post date. I would take that as an assumption that you start writing as you wait for reviews, at the very least. This is a cumulative competition, no? Because you kept talking about how people in your team were unable to write and how they weren't addressing the issue. I seem to have misread the tone. I believe in hard deadlines. You're saying this isn't being done professionally, but in my experience, things that don't get made in time get cut. The onus is not on the judges here, the onus is on the teams to get the stories submitted. They're posting the topics on time, right? Then they're technically doing their job. I understand your frustration that the feedback isn't timely, believe me. If there are still no reviews in a couple of weeks, you won't be the only one crying foul. For now, however, complaining isn't going to make it happen any faster. The admins are the some of the most invested people on this forum, for fuck's sake. It's not because they're trying to jerk you guys around.

People are currently not writing or are writing slowly, so I thought, "Maybe they're waiting for reviews before they get into the groove." I don't feel satisfied that the reviews are so late at this point, so I want to delay things until the Rounds are judged, and in my opinion, finished and done with, so I, and others if they have the same problem, don't feel distracted or unsatisfied by having the round "incomplete".
So I said so here. To help me, and maybe to help others. But mostly me, as I've said.
Edit: Decision is made, so I accept it.

Taed's reviews are incoming. I thought he was still online when I posted mine, but uhh, he wasn't. My bad.

Ha Ha! Oh Christ.
And before anyone says anything, Agro and I genuinely don't collaborate on reviews. We both totally independently decided that Roseluck is a stupid goddam name.

Aw shiz, we've got our first split verdict. The substance of Match 8's reviews were actually pretty close, though. It was Match 9, Team Kaez where we completely contradicted each other (the order of the segments). Ha Ha! Oh Christ. And before anyone says anything, Agro and I genuinely don't collaborate on reviews. We both totally independently decided that Roseluck is a stupid goddam name. Truth is universal.

So, after the third round, the points are:
Team Kaez - 9 Team Zovo - 9
This is going to the final round.

If you could have shuffled the order of the existing segments--not create new segments, just rearrange the ones that are there--would you have done so? I don't think they're necessarily the absolute best selection of events, but for what we were given, the arc is solid.

I don't think they're necessarily the absolute best selection of events, but for what we were given, the arc is solid. If I'm not adding any more segments, I'm probably moving one of the journals in between Vera and Anatoly (and swap the final journal and the robot around) so that they alternate the whole way through. It feels more natural, that way. The change up of going from Vera's to Anatoly's POV without a journal part in between felt like someone mucking up a gear shift. Preferably, though, I'd just add one more journal segment and slip it straight in between Vera and Anatoly. Or, perhaps, I'd like to see either a far stronger H-93's POV and then make that the ending. Because then you get the whole meta imagery of the beginning of the story being told by Schmid and the story having ended by being handed over to H-93 for a new story.

I've inserted a common quirk in all my stories for this competition. Just something for the mild amusement of the Great Red Team.
