I'm still in my typical writing competition "I don't like this" stage. The question is if by tomorrow, I'll be out of it or not. That's when I really know if I don't like a topic/beginning or not.  It's so dull! |

I actually wrote a quick Python program to randomly seed the match ups. We got a couple of what I think are good ones. You guys should also make a point to knock Pete out now, because I'm using one of his intros as the Thunderdome starter come hell or high water. I think you used my easiest and my hardest starters this first round, actually. But I know which one you're talking about. That'll make an awesome thunderdome. [redacted]? Yeah, I think I'd agree. But I liked the other ones a lot for Conference and Thunderdome. This isn't really giving anything away since it's not liked I'd assign you guys your own starter and you can generally tell people's style anyways, but I used one each from Ref, James, and Kaez for the Conference matches. Think they'll produce some good ones. |

I started something, going to probably rewrite everything today or tomorrow. Definitely sticking within the same vein of story/genre, though.

I sat silently yelling at my plot, then gave in and decided to still go with it. I think having to incorporate a beginning written by someone else has thrown me.
