Hey James? Um... my story might turn out to be... gigantic. I mean I'm writing this thing and it's just flowing out, but that's really hurting on it's size.
And I'm not sure how I'd shrink it because of it's format.
Is that going to be a problem?

If it's massive... I am going to have to dock you a point or two. Just to make it fair for people who are following the rules.
As long as it not 15,000 words or something, though, I will still read it.

Deadline nearly upon us. If we can grab one more entry, at least, that would be great.
However, the judging won't be done till tomorrow. First week of Uni has killed me. So you probably have maybe another half a day to get something in.

So, yeah, I'm using the Beginning topic again.
For good reason. There's always a chance someone might write a beginning and love it so much they end up seeing the story through.

I think I like the more 'unusual' topics better than the old 'High Fantasy/Sci-Fi/etc' topics. More of a challenge. I dunno if that's why I didn't write this round or not, but I do like the unusual topics better. |

Right, judging is going to take a little longer. I need to finish some assignments. But I am going to say no more entries for Round Three now. Just get to work on Round Four.

This one's actually going to be a mini interesting project outside of the competition. The idea came to me easily when I saw the topic. A triptych of flashies ... but, as per topic, I'll only post the beginning. I'm currently stewing the other two bits. Not exactly sure where to go with them.
Will post finished article later. Need to think about running a Trekkie RPG tonight at the pub now >.>

I'll tell you what I told Kaez, James. I am not writing if I don't know how terrible or wonderful my last work was. It literally takes an axe to any inspiration when I am writing in a competition.

I am not blaming you for anything. If anything, I am blaming myself for getting so focused on that particular failing of mine. Of course I am being a dick about it, but I am blaming no one but myself for that.Of course I expect your university things to be first. Putting my foot in my mouth here is really the best recourse at this point anyways. Good luck with your studies, and all that.
