I did some brainstorming on the details on the commute home today. . . my idea has finally come to life. Gonna eat some pizza play some video games, and then write a mean story. I think I have an idea, still using the same creatures from the original idea. So, tonight and tomorrow, mad frenzy writing time.

I think this is my first time writing in a WWII setting. I think.
... I should start organising my works, even the crappy ones.

550 words in. Far better than what I had originally, although I think it's going to be far shorter than anything else I've written for this competition. Very fast tempo... possibly because I'm writing with this in the background:

So glad I'm not the only one who's been struggling >.< I've been through about 4 ideas ... and the story I have right now I think might be too close to horror as well. I've had another idea - which is along the same line as this idea - but it might be too late to work on it and what exactly I would do with it, I don't know.
This round -sucks-

Sorry, Manny. The idea just wouldn't pop. I couldn't find the inspiration. I tried and then I ran out of time because of extra hours at work. I went through several ideas.
Too tired now to do anything about it.

So... A bit less than 3 hours until the deadline, yes?
How's it goin' for all of you?

1,914. My shortest of the competition by far.
Also, if the judges can manage it, any chance of having the judging done by Sunday (US time) so that we can put the final up as soon as Monday begins and gives the finalists an entire week for their last round.

I'll try? Can't speak for anyone else, though - weekends are still weekends, you know?

I'll try? Can't speak for anyone else, though - weekends are still weekends, you know? Oh yeah, don't worry about it if you can't. It would just be nice for the final to say, you start the first second of Monday morning and you'll get until the last second of Sunday night.

More than the five days the competitors have been given thus far? *headtilt*

More than the five days the competitors have been given thus far? *headtilt* If the finalists want five they can, but I thought seven would rule out any possibility of something just entering a rushed piece in the final round. Which would just be the biggest disappointment.

Which would just be the biggest disappointment. How much time were the finalists given last year? I honestly don't remember, but I think it was the same as all the other rounds.

I think we said five, and then ended up with six due to some technical reason of some sort.

Too tired now to do anything about it. Don't beat yourself up Reffy. This was a sucky one. I had to fall back on the cliche. Meh, oh well. Come on, Zovo, where are you?

Come on, Zovo, where are you? Indeed, where are you, Zovo?
