... I'm happy for Zovo to have an extension if he needs one. *nodnod* Let's just find out what happened, and I hope all is well. He's not the kind of guy to just default.

Sorry, Manny. The idea just wouldn't pop. I couldn't find the inspiration. I tried and then I ran out of time because of extra hours at work. I went through several ideas. Too tired now to do anything about it. See you worry too much, Reffy. Only five points behind with two judges left, you still in this. Only real mistake was on the past tense, but Manny strayed a bit as well, past tense being so drilled in as a habit these days for writers.

Scores are posted "so far," and I'm really hoping we hear from Zovo soon? I'm a bit worried now, to be honest, and I really do hope everything is all right with him and his family. Is there anyone here who can contact him personally, and just let us know if all is well at least?

Really all we can do is hope that nothing bad has happened and all is fine except some sort of technical problem or something.

He's been gone less that two days. We've all disappeared for longer stretches than that. I'm sure he's fine.

Or we can assume that he climbed a volcano, dove in, and emerged as Magmathion, Champion of Hawai'i, Conqueror of Fire. Your call, James. Your call.

Pele would be angred by this, one does not fuck with Pele. Alas, real life struck this weekend. My wifes grandmother made a surprise trip to the islands. . . to stay! That's the sarcastic smilie there because she is a. . . less than great person, and one of the reasons we left the mainland to begin with. Needless to say, she has an insatiable hunger for attention and beginning early Saturday morning, my weekend became devoted to finding a place for her to live, shopping for her new furniture, setting up her new furniture, dinners with grandma and all that sort of thing. . . I didn't get -any- free time until Sunday night and was pretty bombed by then. My story was only half finished Friday night with intentions to finish/edit Saturday morning. Currently, it is still half finished and un-editted, and Gradma-fest continues tonight after I get off work. Sad; I was actually looking forward to going to work today because it was the pleasant alternative to my weekend. Of course, I'm sorry to have defaulted this round; but shit happens I suppose. Can't wait til this weekend so Grandma can make my birthday about her somehow!
