Not to bash on him when he's not here, but that's why Tam's reviews use to infuriate me. I hadn't intended on calling anyone out; just putting that out there so the reviewers were aware of it. Good thing I was here!

Let's develop objective judging software that always understands exactly what we mean and thinks all of our mistakes are 'brilliantly ironic' and only add further depth and complexity to the story.
And when everyone gets 50/50 on everything, we'll all be most disappointed.

Hyperbole is the most spectacular literary device in the English language.

Hyperbole is the most spectacular literary device in the English language. I felt this attempt at hyperbole fell a whole marathon short of its full potential.

Dyl, I'm just going to say if you really want to be a judge? Welcome aboard, hon - it's nowhere near as bad as it's been made out to be (for people like me (and maybe you too, it seems), at least? Since I automatically edit most everything I read anyway). However, please dont' do as a default, if for whatever reason, you simply think you won't have a chance at winning. First, it's not true - there have been several first time winners these past few months. Write to your heart's content, if it's really what you'd choose to do. For me? I've already committed to several creative projects for the months of January/early February anyway, and so wouldn't have the time to craft anything for the Cup. You've got a unique voice, and quite some talent I've seen. But if you'd like to judge? By all means, it'd be wonderful to have your persective thrown in. Just be sure it's what you'd really like to spend a few weeks doing, you know?

If there's still room, I'd really like to sign up as a writer.
Pretty please!?
