Yeah, disappointed with the turnout this round. But hey, really excited for the next one. The arena format was one I always really liked. We should do Arena again in January. You know, when I have time for this sort of nonsense. Do we have enough people?

I was just going to say that I want and miss the Arena >.> You guys are MIND READERS! I'm in :] Also, bugger. Was hoping for a better score than that. I left it bleak and choppy on purpose, you are right there! I may expand this later. Huzzah an idea is forming. Obviously it's a nightmare and yes cliched but I wanted to have some fun. Back to 3rd though! And battling it out with Silv - awesome *happy wiggle*

Scores and reviews are up. Leaderboard is updated. There's some interesting things afoot. Potentially Kaez can break the entire competition by winning both the overall score and the most rounds. On the flip side, he does only have a three point lead over Allya. If she pulls off a 22-23 (something she's capable of doing) and Pete only manages say an 18-19, then he could potentially find himself left outside in the rain. Also there's a nice little tussle going on for third place. Reffy and Silver have been swapping back and forth and going into the last round they're on the same score. THE GAME, MRS HUDSON, IS ON! Given that these last two entries were written within the last few hours of competition, I think Allya's more promising chance at stealing the limelight is me simply -not writing something- for one round. But I'm determined. It feels really good to be writing again. We should do Arena again in January. You know, when I have time for this sort of nonsense. Do we have enough people? Make a thread about it -now-, letting people know it's coming?

Make a thread about it -now-, letting people know it's coming? Man, if only we had other Admins that were perfectly capable of also making threads about this type of things. That would be really cool. But alas, a dream and nothing more.

Yeah I'm actually surprised I did as well as I did in this last round. I think that was too much story to cram into even the 1900 words I used. Unfortunately, it was the idea I had to work with so I just cut as much as I could.

Already got a really nice beginning idea worked out. Going to have to pull myself away from Tor before the 24th to write it out and submit considering I'll be away from my computer.

The Arena AND the Cup might be a bit much We should definitely try recruit some more peeps for the Cup though :] I'ma put a poster somewhere or something. Also, had my idea for this story but I don't know if I could get away with it.

Yeah, if we don't get any more people then I don't think the Cup would work. At the very minimum you'd probably need eleven people (eight writers, three judges), and I don't see us reaching ten. With the Arena you can cut that number because the writers also act as the judges.

I like the anonymousness of the Arena. I get better grades when no one knows who I am.

I must admit I'd prefer the Cup purely because it looks like I'm going to have to run the competition again and the Cup is considerably less effort than the Arena. But alas, ... earwax.
