I wrote these both last night in long hand on a piece of notebook paper at about 3am. 30. i drink canned tea and sit by a tree in the yard of a stranger
watching the exaggerated drunkenness of a dozen teenage girls and the woefully understated perversity of two dozen twenty-something men
tonight i will kill you with my bare hands in a fury of sobriety and bloodlust
god help me youre going to have a problem that only hospitals can solve good fucking lord im not even kidding youre going to be bleeding really badly
31. wheres your mom by the way
she died a couple weeks ago
oh im sorry to hear that
thats okay you didnt know
also your neighbors arent speaking english
i think theyre some sort of slavic
i didnt know there were black people in slovakia
thats what i said
i think she just said 'cinnabon death metal'
no yeah i heard it too

30 - too excessively violent for me to enjoy. (Unless I missed the point. Shrug.) 31 - definitely intrigued and still thinking about it. Grats.
I liked your lines. Some real nuggets of gold in there :]

I like little one line sentences which seem to say way more than they say. In fact, I chucked a little short bit up in my thread the other day. Glad to see I'm not the only one who finds depth in the shallow end.

Some real nuggets of gold in there :] Thanks, Ref. As for 30... it's violent in the least serious possible way. 31... don't over-think it. That's my advice. Thanks again. :] I like little one line sentences which seem to say way more than they say. In fact, I chucked a little short bit up in my thread the other day. Glad to see I'm not the only one who finds depth in the shallow end. Yeah, there's something interesting about this sort of minimalism that's been appealing to me lately. I feel like I'm still far from mastering the art of it, and that I'll probably do quite a bit in the future.

I don't like reading your work anymore, Pete. Because I have a moment of frustration at not having written the line I just read.
Fuck you and your excellent work.

An old poem that was discovered sometime this day.
oh i am bickering and talking of things that matter not to any of you and i am a little thing.
be great, things be great and tall and older and wiser and bigger and stronger than i could be.
i speak gibberish hymns speaking truer names of nameless things that come across me in the dark.
be great, things see many years and know many secrets and be good and always be good.
we whisper together sweet words to capture fleeting things rumbling deeply in our breasts.
be great, things forgive our ways be gentle when you can and be stubborn and dont give up on us.
great speeches broadcast over fragile wires powerful words spoken by little things.
be great, things be humble and sacrifice and give what you can and take what you need.
be great, great things.

You changed your avatar. . . you said you'd never do that. . . I've truly sinned the greatest sin of all.
