((The results of the votes are in the first spoiler under their respective Choices. The second spoiler is my choice. A note: "my choice" refers to what I would've picked if I had a vote, not what I decided to have happen. The votes will always pick the outcome, not me.))
CHOICE SIX
1: Shoot first, ask questions later. Aim to kill.
2: Shoot first, ask questions later. Aim to wound.
3: Lay your gun down in good faith and yell for him not to shoot as you go through the door. Hope he's friendly.
4: Come around the corner slowly and cautiously, gun raised and ready to fire. Make your presence known and if the other makes any suspicious moves, blast him away.

Welcome to Survival Horror - The Choices Thread.
The world is ending. (BECAUSE OF ZOMBIES)
During the course of this story, you - AWR - will be in control of our unfortunate protagonist's life. Choices will be presented, and you will decide which path to take. His survival relies on your ability to think logically and plan ahead, your ability to make tough decisions and to do so quickly.
Anything less will lead to his doom, and your having to start all over. And that would be very lame.
So, are you up to the task? I hope so. For his sake.
Your first choice:
CHOICE ONE - Where should The Protagonist begin?
1: His own house, two floors. Unusual for The City he lives in.
2: His apartment, in a building with many floors.
3: In his car, on the way home.RESULT - 1(my choice - 3)
CHOICE TWO
1: Run like hell. The Protagonist gets in his car and gets the hell out of that city as fast as he can, bringing only his revolver and whatever is already in his car.
2: Stock up first, then run like hell. The Protagonist gathers supplies, stocks up his car, and then gets the hell out of the city.
3: Safehouse. He boards up the place, hoards supplies, pushes around furniture, fills his bathtub with water, the whole shebang. Decides to try and wait it out for at least a few days in hopes of government rescue or at least to avoid the chaos that's undoubtedly spreading throughout the city by now.
4: Run like hell, but literally. He gathers a few things into a backpack, the necessities, and either runs for it, takes a bike, or some other non-automatic form of travel.RESULT - 2(my choice - 2)
CHOICE THREE - MORAL
1: Help the family by getting out of the car and trying to shoot the "animal".
2: Ignore the family and simply drive around, leaving them to either die or escape on their own.
3: Try to help in some other way you can think of.RESULT - 2(my choice - 1)
CHOICE FOUR
1: Park outside of the shopping mall and walk in to gather any supplies The Protagonist would need. (Specify just where he should go - should he look for food, clothing, weapons?) Risk losing car to zombies or desperate escapees.
2: Drive through the windows, risking damage to the car and self and possibly hitting other survivors trying to hole themselves up within - but ensuring that he wouldn't lose the car to thieves or a sudden zombie attack and giving the good chance of an easy escape.
3: Get out of the car and take off into the park, leaving only a block of city ground he'd have to get through but a possibly even more dangerous area to traverse.
4: Turn around and just go on a less anarchic road. No time to stick around; even though the supplies the city offers might not be seen again, he's better off with what he has than risking having nothing.RESULT - 2(my choice - 2)
CHOICE FIVE
1: Drive forward and check the situation out. It's probably just someone defending themselves from the zombies.
2: Get out of the car and and check it out, moving cautiously and stealthily. It might be somebody protecting themselves, but it might also be a deranged killer in the equivalent of a candy store. Or someone psychologically disturbed who might not be able to tell the difference between you and one of them.
3: Drive the hell out of there. Screw the supplies, the risk is getting too high. There's still time for you to leave.
4: Get out of the car and run, for whatever reason you'd do that.
5: Other (explain)RESULT - 2(my choice - 2)
