Oh boy, I've gotten to a point in my story where I don't think I want to continue...
Should I scrap it all and start over or no?

uhoh! That is not good, Cabawaba.
Why don't you want to continue? Perhaps examine the reasons before scratching it to start again.
Also, remember, nobody comes up with a perfect novel first time. Some of it is going to be awful, others God-given on gold-plates. Stick with it, even if it hurts.

I've introduced three of the characters, but It's at a point where I look at it and go, "Why would anybody keep reading?" and I just can't make myself write something bad. I've started on a new novel with absolutely no planning for it, so I'll see how that goes.

There will be points like that. My first two opening paragraphs aren't to great either and my Main Character is a negative person. It's worrying. Keep going and see what happens. The novel will start to take on a life. Don't be afraid to threaten its life and do wacky things. It might pay off sticking with it |

Heh... I waited until the very end of the prologue to introduce the main character... All the action up to that point is merely setup.

I guess its because my novel is about a court-ordered therapy clinic.
And when I write I have to listen to Opera, and its so beautiful, my main characters are depressing me. :/
I'll stick with it but I may have to change the plot to end a little happier.

Well I'm finished with Chapter 1 of my story, getting to 4,233 words.
I think I might throw in my own little thread about my story like a few other people are doing.
