Hand drawn map of Ariea. At least the known parts of it. Once I figure out how do do it in an organized fashion, (Gonna look at how Kaez did it for his.), I'll divvy up the nations and what not. But I have the basic story figured out, as well as basic, very rough history.

It's looks like an ice cream cone. ;D Oh, and I just notcied that at least two other poeple are working on new fantasy worlds just like Kaez... I started at least two years ago. Though I've redone a lot of the original stuff. For example, I've done away with elves. Actually, I'm considering having them extinct, at one point they owned the world, and left all these neat-o magical ruins behind. They "mysteriously" vanished. Honestly, they could've been goblins for all I know, just that when you find ancient buildings doing something physically impossible, you tend to come up with stories/ledgends making them grand.

I wish I had artist skillz. Mine aren't very good. Yet I drew that. And Walder... It's kinda a time of peace at the moment. Maybe the Elves were once like that, but I'm not seeing it. Though I do need a different name instead of Paladin. >.> I haz semi-holy peoples that are neutral to the rest. AND I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DIVIDE IT UP NEATLY! <Pouts> MS Paint sucks... And my version of photoshop is crappy for Windows 7.

Nation 1: Northern Tiberia Major cities: None Cities: Watertown Towns: Mistvale, Timberhall Government type: None. Crime and Law: Northern Tiberia is ruled by custom more than law, and because they are more rural than the other nations, there exists little crime that cannot be solved by the town itself. Usually ending with a harsh punishment or forgiveness for the criminal. Professions: Blacksmith, Farmer, Tanner, Fishermen, Shipswain (Maker of boats), and occasional Shopkeeper, Miner. Trade: They collectively trade what they grow with their neighbors, Trading ores for the plant matter. Organizations: None. Events: No national events. Education: The people here learn only the basics, reading and how to ply their trade. Languages: Common, Tiberan(Nation 2) Class: None other than a few local “rich” who are not deferred to at all. Population: No census, rumored to be around a few thousand. Resources: Ore, stone, crops, water. Wildlife: This area boasts the most amount of wildlife throughout Ariea, the types range from the basic plains creatures around Timberhall and Watertown, towards cold weather creatures around Mistvale and farther north. Climate: From Northern Temperate (Illinois) to Southern North (Like Canada) Mounts and Pets: Horses and dogs are the usual. Technology: Just enough to farm efficiently. Subcultures: Each town boasts its own culture, as independent from each other as they are from Tiberia to the south. Military: Town peacekeepers, light armor, sword. Weapons and armor: Knives, and short swords. Leather armor. Timeline: The most recent of the areas to be discovered by humans, there was no rush to arrive in Northern Tiberia as there was no gold found here. Relations: No government to make such connections. Homes: Basic wooden construction, keeps the cold out, and the heat in. Religion: Collectively they worship the Earth Goddess, Ariea, though a few pockets of other religions exist. Architecture: Basic wooden construction, log cabins and the like. The nicest building in the entire region is in Watertown, known as the Elder’s Manor, it has a half stone half wood construction, the stone makes up the foundation. Clothing: They dress simply, caring only that they don’t get their clothes ripped off while they work. Arts: “Art? What’s art?” Entertainment: They hold parties much of the time, ranging for every excuse they can come up with.

Nation 2: Tiberia Major cities: Tillerman Harbor, Mountainhall Cities: Farsouth Hold Towns: Woodsreach Government type: Monarchy Crime and Law: Laws are basic, and crime rate is high in Tillerman Harbor, though relatively low compared to the larger civilizations. Professions: Weaponsmith, lumberjack, farmer, shopkeeper, shipwright, fisherman, soldier, hunter. Trade: The nation of Tiberia trades with all thereof its neighbors in all available commodities, even over the span to the south. Occasionally it will trade with the nations farther south. Organizations: Tiber Guard, Smallfleet, Farsouth Garrison. Events: The national events revolve around the founding of Tiberia, also known as the Tiber New Year, as well as the death of its founder, Tiber Mountainhall. Education: The people of Tiberia are at least as well educated as those in Northern Tiberia, learning to read, write, and taking part in various mental activities such as puzzles. Languages: Tiberian, Common Class: Tiberia is divided into two classes, the bureaucrats, and the working class. The bureaucrats invariably have a higher average pay, and usually get management stations based off of their lineage. Population: 50,000 at last count. Resources: While Tiberia is short on wood, they have plenty of crops, and ore. Though some wonder why they do not conquer their underdeveloped neighbor to the north. Wildlife: Temperate wildlife, though inland they lack fish. Hunting game is considered a sport amongst Tiberians. Climate: Temperate climate, though it gets chilly at the coast. Mounts and Pets: They use Horses as mounts, and their pets range from small cats to large dogs. Technology: They have recently discovered the triangle sail, allowing easier passage from Tiberia to the southern continent, though their ships lack the range for any longer voyage. Subcultures: Woodsreach participates in the holidays of Northern Tiberia, and are close cousins with the north culture. Military: Tiberia is somewhat light on the military, they have a garrison in Farsouth Hold, and Mountainhall, but very little beyond normal peacekeeping forces in Woodsreach and Tillerman Harbor. Weapons and armor: Tiberian smiths have been creating low quality iron weapons, and have added ballistae to what few warships they have. Timeline: Tiberia was founded as the first expansion to Tiberia took place, though it was a simple thing, to simply walk across the ancient bridge to the northern continent. After a while, they expanded northward and eastward, until the new nation of Tiberia claimed the southern edge of Woodsreach Lake, and the area west of the mountain range that now divides Tiberia and Western Tiberia. A civil war broke out, and when the dust settled, Tiberia was split in two, the once large nation now having little access to the Span. Relations: Relations with Western Tiberia have settled down since their civil war, though occasionally one will remark on the other and start a bar fight in [Western Tiberia Southern town/city] on their way across the Span. With Northern Tiberia, they have cordial relations, as with the rest of the world. Though some say that the King of Mountainhall is under investigation by the Order of the Shining Sun. Homes: Tiberian homes are built sturdily, usually out of a combination of wood and stone. Occasionally, Tillerman Harbor will recycle old ship husks as buildings. Religion: The national religion of Tiberia is primarily that of the Sun God, Sonnenda, as such they are under the jurisdiction of the Order. Architecture: Tiberian architecture leans towards small homes for the poor, and lavish mansions for the rich. Clothing: The women dress conservatively, almost against the weather, preferring long dresses. The men dress for their work, comfortably. Arts: Tiberia just recently became wealthy enough to afford the occasional painting, or sculpture in Mountainhall Keep. Entertainment: To keep themselves entertained, the people of Tiberia hold hunting competitions, with both bow and arrow, and sword. The latter is rarely successful.

I like your formatting. :] *fist-bump* =D Yeah... No idea how else to do it. And I did simplify some of the stuff. But yeah, boonies, not much to see here. Wait until Nation 5 or 6 those are the big ones. 4 and 7 will be interesting, so will what is technically 8, but might not be all that big on stuff.

Last one for the day. Nation 3: Western Tiberia Major cities: Riversend Cities: Forestwater, South Garrison Towns: Northhall Government type: Constitutional Monarchy, councilmembers are elected from each town/city. Crime and Law: Crime is low in Western Tiberia, everyone together here wanted to go against Tiberia in the civil war, and are happy with their freedom. Professions: Fisherman, shipwright, soldier, hunter, lumberjack, farmer, smith, councilmember. Trade: Trade with Tiberia is light, though they control access to the Span, forcing a toll on Tiberian travelers passing through the area. Other trade is also light, except with Northern Tiberia, where they trade everything they don’t need for everything they might need, especially with Northern Tiberia’s excess of wood. Organizations: Western Tiber Guard, Tradesman’s Fleet, Riversend Council Events: They hold their own new year, celebrating their freedom from the monarchy of Tiberia, on this day, they stay up all night, partying, and drinking ale to excess. Education: They educate more than Tiberia, learning to read, write, and speak in at least three languages. Languages: Tiber, Common, and one of the student’s choice. Class: They have done away with class as much as possible in Western Tiberia, though there are still some psudo-nobles who use their money to gain power in the government. Population: 35,000 Resources: An abundance of ore, though they lack farmland and have a moderate amount of wood. Wildlife: Ranging from a temperate zone to a chilling north area, the wildlife is varied enough to give Tiberia sport for at least a straight year. Climate: South of Forestwater is comfortable and warm, while north it gets colder as one closes in on Northhall. Mounts and Pets: They use Giant Dogs imported from [Nation 7] to get around quickly, as all the horses went to Tiberia after the war, and they keep the usual pets. Technology: Western Tiberia has invested much into their ships, though not as much as [Nation 7], it would make good sense that the next world explorer would set out from either [Nation 7] or Western Tiberia. Subcultures: Northhall is more like Northern Tiberia, showing its influences by celebrating the North’s holidays, as well as the West’s. Military: Most of the military might is concentrated around South Garrison, though there are the usual peacekeepers around. Weapons and armor: Western Tiberia has invested more into defense than attack, so their soldiers have simple shields in addition to iron armor. Timeline: Western Tiberia shares the same history as Tiberia. Relations: Relations with Tiberia have settled down since the civil war, though they are still at a rivalry state here. Homes: Their homes are built small, with very little stone, which they save for the forts. Religion: They worship the Goddess of the Sea, Adrial, mainly, though the Sun does take precedence in all nations. Architecture: Their architecture is mostly wood, with classic style battlements on their forts. Clothing: The women dress conservatively, while the men dress comfortably for their trade. Arts: The Western Tiberians have developed on the [Nation 4]’s ballet, taking it to their ships and rivers for watersport. Entertainment: They have sailboat races, as well as their ballet which is improved from [Nation 4]’s version for water use. Next comes the fun part.

During school I had time to create a zoomed in version of the Northern Tiberian area. The southern leg. The middle part, with the big lake. The north bit, with Mistvale. The boxes with a bit in the corner are farms. And the roads and rivers look alike, just go by the names.
