I may not even make 5,000. I've been editing which makes it hard to count words (the main flaw of this entire system, really!).

Wrote 1000 words tonight, with another 1600 earlier in the month. Exact total so far is 2743. Expecting a lot more tomorrow.

I've got two projects I'm working on right now. One's an attempt at a novel-length fantasy setting focused on pirates, rescues, and magic, the other's just a short ghost story as a character development project. |

I managed to hit the lesser target, even though the 10,000 was out of reach for this month. However, I feel like I might have done a good 2,000-3,000 words of planning work on paper as well. So maybe I wasn't that far away.
