So, guys. A quick warning. I think in past competitions I've probably been one of the more lenient judges, especially when compared to m'colleagues. But minus a challenge, I haven't judged anything for about a year and in that time I've been reading and writing a lot. And, it turns out, I'm now holding you all to a far higher standard. So if it seems like my reviews of your stories seem harsher, it's not because you've gotten worse. I'm just expecting more. Welcome to the Judges Who Give Low Scores Club. We used to have meetings every Thursday, but we gave our caterers 1/5 on Yelp and thumbs-down'd the hotel we held the conferences in on Expedia, so now we just quietly gather to downvote things on reddit. I don't even go to Reddit... Wait, have you been giving low scores witho... DAMN YOU BLUE TEAM! |
