Let's talk a bit about that Halloween idea that Bloodeye had. I think it'd be particularly cool if we basically said: everyone on AWR works for this same company. One day, at the company store, a zombie attack happens. Blood and I maybe make a post introducing the zombie attack and a few of the characters (maybe Blood, me, James, Zovo, etc.) And then we just let people have at it with the only rule being, once something is posted, it's canon and you can't undo it. So if James makes a post about him and Jor being attacked my zombies, Dragon can't come in with a post where James is doing some kind of other thing. You've got to either build on what's already been posted or start a whole new storyline. And nobody is limited to certain characters, either. I can write a story that's all about Mena and Reffy and that "I'm" (the Kaez character) not in at all. Everyone is able to write everyone else's characters and you can go as insane as you want. You can take it totally off the rails. Taed can come in and turn the storyline that James and Dragon are in into a sci-fi thing where they get abducted by aliens and when he posts that, that's canon. Anything goes at all. Just you have to keep it consistent and coherent. You have to respect everyone else's posts -- which means READING their posts, so I think it'd really get all of AWR together on it. Anyone got any opinions on that? I think it could turn into something insane and fun. A Blacklisted for all of AWR, basically. Calling the zombies having a tea party discussing the finer parts of obscure postmodern flesh art. "The interplay between the scents of pungent rot and shit and the visual spectacle of wet flesh dripping off the bone really speak to me in a carnal, famished sort of way. The artist loses points on the use of color, but gains so much more on the layers of visual death." |

So, Blood and Pete, are you two working on this Anthology/Roleplay thing? Was hoping to get more feedback about it here, or at least some folks confirming that they liked the idea. It'd be relatively easy to get the ball rolling if enough people would actually get in on it. EDIT: I guess we did have like 4 or 5 saying they'd be interested in, plus Blood and myself. Hmm. Maybe I should get to writing up an intro post. Blood, any thoughts? |

We actually did have a few posts saying they'd get in on it. I kind of overlooked them. I don't want to "steal" the project from Blood, though, so I want him to have dibs on kicking things off if he's interested in doing so. If he doesn't want to, though, I certainly can. |
