I was gonna keep this to myself, but I figure I'd put it out there... Is anyone else planning on ending at a cliffhanger that makes the judges want to put you forward? I've chosen a different strategy, but my story definitely has a reason to provoke the judges to put me forward.

Oooohhhhh, shoot. I just realized, if I make it through, I'm gonna have a hard goddam time getting the next entry done. Working all weekend, and then I'm going camping Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday ......
Almost hoping I get eliminated now >.< Gonna start my entry now anyway, because I'm going to need every minute.

Read and decided. Last I checked Agro was still up in the air on a couple. So I'll let him post the final results.
Good job though guys. It was a tough call and I've no doubt we got the right folks in the final.
Regardless of who is eliminated, I think all these stories should be pursued to conclusion.

Review and our final decision is up. Also, the deadline for Round 2 is set.
Meanwhile:
"At times, James and Crivellaro sounded like Gandalf and Saurman. Then, they morphed into Morecambe and Wise" is probably my best bit of reviewing on this forum yet.

If we can bounce around IRL, we can bounce around in a story, y'bastards. ONTO ROUND 2.

Thanks for the the competition, it's been lovely. I'm not sure if I'll keep writing this thing, we'll see, maybe once my summer calms down... I think it was pretty clear, at least to me, that my three opponents put more work into their entries than I did in mine. Congratulations, chaps, and good luck.

My review was bang on. There was literally a part halfway through writing where I sat back and basically just went "Huh ... so I guess we're just doing a tour of the setting then? Okay, I guess I'm cool with that."
The next part should be more plot-heavy.

Yeah, this is the first week of classes for me, so... not a lot of time for writing, really, at all. Jor deserves major kudos for being on-point both final rounds.
