Shivering
Dawn breaks to tremors, short breaths of fall's chill Struggling to unhinge the Sun, fruitless effort indeed Every covering known is impotent, a lost battle Facing the bitter air is a vexatious task.
The sky is promising, golden radiance blazing Alas, nothing expected is given to the heart Struggling atop icy toes, rubbing chilled arms Nothing attempted will cease the shivering.
It starts high in the stomach, spreading like plague Cold food is unhelpful, the boiled beverage lacks comfort Slowly immersing, a freezing cocoon engulfs Soul is longing for the end where dreams began.

According to Ref it's National Poetry Day. So to celebrate, I wrote a quick poem about my cold ass morning! Anyway, maybe I'll continue to write stuff here. Just for giggles and shiz.
