That's what am I saying. I didn't get much of a read on who they were outside of the archetypal stuff.

Noted. Could be a result of me forcing it as a segment of a bigger story rather than making sure it's a short one on its own, as well as, admittedly, my own inexperience with noir-type characters.

Because I want at least two things for this, The challenge is extended until Friday. However, due to low turnout, I am allowing edits as well as this possibly being the last round. I'm so damned disappoint right now.

Bummer. Yeah, I'm kind of disappointed myself. I expected at least one other competitor for this deadline. Hell, I thought I'd be the last one. I guess March really is a busy time for everyone.

March is essay month, for me at least. It's even busier than my exam period in April. So writing just really hasn't been an option. I'll make up for it in the next challenge.
