Hooooly shit this ain't working for me. I'm just getting pissed trying to create something resembling decent before the deadline and nothing is happening. So yeah. Bowing out of this round. Sorry, James, you deserve better but I'm just in far too terrible a mood to produce anything workable. It's cool, man. If you had said something earlier I'd probably have dropped out of this round too so that we were even. It's only just that by the time I read your post, I only had a single paragraph left to write. And fuck knows what else I'm going to do with this piece if I don't enter it. Who knows? I might hate the next round. |

Not from a competitive standpoint but just from the value of a review is always worth it. I just know that I could not have produced anything that I considered decent enough, it was too much like my Thirst story and that was just awful in my opinion. A shitty week makes for a shitty story. |

This is an interesting restriction. Not so much the first person, although my hatred of that perspective has lessened considerably over the years of AWR. More the death. I feel like that's something you can really use to mess with the reader.

I won't post the WoW one I don't think. I just kept jumping all over the place character and setting wise, and that just fucked me over.
...though now I have the overwhelming urge to write a sprawling four part epic farewell piece for my Warcraft characters, set from vanilla to Cata.

I'm slightly concerned at the fact that I'm essentially basing this piece around an interesting concept from a writing viewpoint, rather than any plot or story.
