Happy with that! Didn't expect much this round and got a 40! I was trying for dull and grey, hence the lack of jazz. I wanted it to be as morbid and lackluster as possible. Like time's stopped.

Was expecting slllllllightly more commentary on, y'know, the conclusion of the tournament rather than this specific round. But. Y'know. I'm not in much of a position to comment on the tournament's score myself since I only submitted two entries, but nonetheless, I'm satisfied with my scores in relation to everyone else and in general. And I concur with James. Thanks for taking the time to review and score: judging's always tough work, and your critique will be useful for improving in those specific fields (eg. long/ short prose, depending on who wrote what).

You're very welcome, guys. I had fun doing it. There were a lot of stories in there that I genuinely enjoyed reading. That's part of judging: you read more stories than you ever would've if you weren't "obligated" to, and you end up being glad you had.
Super excited for the Ides of Februmarchiary... March. Ides of March.
