Oh yeah, I don't think anyone would advocate for the Monthly Assignment to return. Should we go for an AWR Cup right away in February? Is that a busy time? Do we rob some of the magic of the Big AWR Competition? Do we wait till a May, June, July, August billing for the AWR Cup? I certainly think we can have some fun with a small, casual competition. Have a best beginnings round? And stuff like that? Do we also keep the Monthly Challenges going? Because they tend to go quite well (well... when I run them). Let's do a Challenge, shall we? I'd like a Challenge. That seems like an adequate thing to go along with the Arena. Should we make it a poetry/flash fiction Challenge? For a bit of variety? I also have an idea coming up for a new type of competition. I'm just thinking of any pitfalls. |

If I make it to the next round, I definitely won't have deserved it. Gotta get back in the writing mindset... I think I know who you are. You're probably correct. Just because I'm curious, are you allowed to PM me with who you think I am? I won't answer but I want to know if I'm easy to pick out. |

If it's Flash/Poetry, I don't think we'll have too much of a problem. I guess the only thing might be if it's obvious who has been knocked out of the Arena if certain people aren't competing in the Challenge. |

Not a bad night's work. We figured out what Tam was reading. Discussed AWR's future. Got a new competition rolling. And a new writing idea is developing in the Forbidden Zone.

Which one is the competition that has weekly challenges you can drop in and out of, and a cumulative point score for the month. That one's my favourite, I think we should do that.
