I really want to know who got what now. People are having more trouble with beginnings than usual. Because I dropped the ball with Reffy I had to use some crappier beginnings. Not that that can be used as an excuse to not write something, harden up people! |

I wouldn't say it's a "crappy" beginning. In fact I could see how it could be something great in someone else's hands. I've got 300 words and feel about halfway done. The first story I ever wrote was 600 words, in year 7. First story I ever wrote was "Freddy Meets Jason." It was 1988, I was in third grade. It was one giant run-on sentence that took up roughly one full sheet of standard notebook paper. It was eventually made into a feature film.  |

I'm about 2000 words in and about halfway done, I think. Just gotta finish tonight... Also, I disliked my beginning, very much.

Yeah, I'm calling it. This shit ain't happening. I'll still write reviews though. Catching up from maternity leave + tax season + no sleep + newborn is just really kicking my ass.

Well I've been working on mine, but applying for jobs and working on sketches is grinding it down to a crawl. Plus I'm not so happy with what I'm writing. Feel like my beginning sorta shelves you into one path of thought and trying to be innovative is difficult.

You're excused. Do please review, though. Reviewing is way more important and way less stressful than writing for a successful Arena. I left my job today (no worries I handed my notice in and did it all correctly) and I start the new one Monday. I'm shattered from the emotion over-haul! When do the stories get posted? |
