Your entry must be in the format of prose (a story).
Must be in before the deadline.
Once posted it cannot be edited. Editing will lead to disqualification.
Must be based around the topic given, if not expect to be docked points.
Must be between 500-5000 words.
Two notes for this year: A: If you do need something desperately to be edited, such as a formatting error, that has nothing to do with the writing itself then please specify that to a judge. And then I will make the edit for you. B: Concerning the word limit of 500-5000, you won't be disqualified for going over (or under it). However the judges will be reading and judging a lot of stories, and so they might not be to kind to stories that break that rule. They have complete discretion concerning the docking of points for failures to meet the word limit rule.
