Yeah, it's definitely not everyone who participated and/or read the submissions; but I think after five or so reviews, the actual value of the feedback would drop dramatically as points and opinions would become repeated. So, yeah, from a participation standpoint I can see where it would be disappointing. But from the POV of an author seeking feedback, it feels just about right. |

Wow people were really nice to me but no one found my easter egg  It's also cool to see how varied the reviews are on each round. Personal taste really goes into it a lot I think. |

It's also cool to see how varied the reviews are on each round. Personal taste really goes into it a lot I think. Yeah. I like it when you get two reviews back to back that are the exact opposite of one another. "I really would have liked to have more of X. You should work on that." vs. "Wow, I really love how Y comes through so strongly, it's clear you put a lot fo effort into X, well done." And then I go. . .  |

This arena stuff has been really good for me because I really don't have a drive to write stories. If you give me a topic and a deadline however I will work my ass off to meet that. It's made me better at this prose stuff.

EDIT: Yeah, apparently all four/five of us have really differing opinions on some of these pieces. It's kind of disconcerting. |
