Alrightie, so it has been a long time. As always, life has gotten in my way of doing a great many things I have wanted to do. Work, school, being so poor I can't afford internet most of the time...it all has kept me away from writing along with distractions.
So I feel like I need a big kick in the pants and I figured the best way to get back into things would be NaNoWriMo. So I've signed up and am starting a story in my head. I don't know if t here is a particular thread for that but there has been other projects in the works. One in particular is a DnD campaign that is in the works, I've drawn up the map and am working on flushing out those details. I'm even thinking of hiring a free lance artist to re-do my map for me in more fine detail. I want to pull a 'Gamers' and run the campaign first and then use that experience to write something from it once we finish. So that may be a while in the works but I'm reserving this thread for them anyways.
I hope I can power through this all and get back into writing, and back into this forum.

(I've hit some speed bumps on getting something out, loss of job among other things but I am currently getting out of that and back in the writing spirit by finishing up the last book of the wheel of time series. So hopefully i'll get some stuff up soon, and a map up of the setting i'm making once I commission someone to do so.)

I've been world building more and more the past few months and even though I had done this early map of a continent a while ago I wasn't able to scan it because of my printer. Finally got the damn thing fixed, so he is an early look at the continent, Eldeia. I still have to change it around greatly in regards to realistic geography and size, but it's a good ground work. I plan on starting the story here mainly. The other parts of the world I'm working on as I go, but they aren't too much of a focus because Eldeia is separated not only by distance and oceans, but a strange barrier that has isolated it for thousands of years. EDIT: Some of the names for nations and such are kind of filler till I think of better ones. Kalentide, Nakar, Enor (changed from Anor), and Reya are some of the names I've settled on permanently so far. Attachments:
