I had an idea, which I thought was great, but halfway through writing I had an even better idea, and began excitedly writing that one down...Only to realize it had nothing to do with the topic.
So, back to Plan A.

Is the word limit inflexible or is there an allowance for going over by a certain amount? I never really deal with inflexible word limits because it's kind of cruel... but I will punish you score-wise if the length annoys me. That's the risk you run. |

It's not -too- far over, sitting at 1597 words atm. Just can't find much else to edit out, will probably have another proof read by someone and see what I could edit out. |

My own personal preference is I rather you didn't purely because I judge Flash Fiction different to how I judge Short Stories, just like with poetry. But I won't flat out ban it. |
