I just got an idea for Tragicomedy by reding Injin's Autobio... problem is, it's a pre-existing story that would take way to long to write without truncating it significantly. This scares me a little.

I thought it was word vomit. I think that mundane things are genuinely the hardest to write about; autobiographical ones only seem to be as hard because people are much more critical of their own writing when writing about things they've personally experienced.

Let me describe the writing process on this last one. I sat down and just started writing; no particular subject in mind. It started off in a very different place than what you read and then I sort of just rambled. At a certain point, at the second oral presentation, I thought; "Hey, if I end it here and delete the first six paragraphs this thing will basically be bookended by school projects. That'll give it a nice circular flow, some conflict, and resolution. Yeah, that might work." So I did. Clicked the spell check and done.

This scares me a little. No, nothing like that. I was just thinking about summarizing the adventures of one of my old D&D characters. Tragicomedy virtually defines them. But yeah, it's way too long to break down in any comprehensible form. So, you know, drawing boards.

Yeah, see, I usually put more work into stuff. Maybe this one just seems lazy to me because I didn't have to make anything up, just recount events as I remember them with slightly off-color language.

I'll probably be late turning in my thing, as I am still struggling to put a good concept together. Will enter it ASAP.

I have a new concept. However, I likely will be unable to finish by tonight's deadline, so I am asking, Kaez, that you extend it to tomorrow night.

Given the -lack of response-, yeah, more time.

There's one more round, yes? Think I'ma take a little break this round, pick it up in the next. It's not about winning or losing anyhow; it's about the feedback.

Yeah, I'm planning to jump back in for the final round. My schedule is winding down a little bit but I just didn't feel the topic for this round.

The topic for the final round is going to be 'Interview'.
Not putting it up officially 'till Injin gets in his piece.
But yeah. Start brainstorming/writing for 'Interview'.
