Boris smiled, as he watched the man from the cover of the large beech tree. Humans were always so predictable, following a set pattern as if they had no free will or indepent thought, Boris knew they did however, which made their predictability even more amusing. It seemed in fact a little sad now that many would likely die before his cause was through, but there was time for such thoughts later, the man was leaving.
He leapt from his position near the top of the tree, to a lower branch in a westerly direction to the one he was just on and proceeded down the tree in that same way, leaping off onto the man's car. He forced his claws inrto the metal and lay down low, as the car started, concentrating solely on staying on the car. He nearly slipped several times, once sliding to the very edge of the car before regaining his grip and returning to his former position.
The car stopped with a jolt and he lost his grip, flying forward. He took full advatage of it though, managing to grab the roof of the nearby house, which was likely the mans. He ran along the roof and jumped down the dusty soot filled chimney, his grey fur helping him blend in and his claws helping to slow the descent. At the bottome he lay down in the ash and dust and waited.
The man strode by the fireplace several times but boris didn't move, he had to wait till the man was asleep. Several hours later, all the lights in the ohuse were out and the sound sof snoring echoed from upstairs. Boris moved swiftly darting out of the fireplace, up the stairs and around the corner into the man's room. He climbed onto the bed and woke the man by scratching his face, he wasn't happy "What the hell??!!!"
"Hello" the raccoon smiled at the man. Alex Reorn, Vice President of America was an angry disagreeable man at the best of times and he didn't count being waken by a talking raccoon the best of times. "Its a dream, I'm still asleep and dreaming' he muttered quietly to himself. Boris slapped him hard across the face "This is no dream, I'm quite real. Now it's time to talk, i'm an emmisary from the animal revolution and I'm here to engotiate" "Animal revolution? What the fuck are you talking about!? You're dumb critters who can't talk or even think coherently!!" came the angry, infuriated response.
Boris wasn't happy at the insult, he reached into the holster at his waist and pulled out a small, .45 caliber revolver and pointed it at the man. "Now I'm going to aska question, you have two choices, you either negotiate peacefully with us, or we bring you to a state of war. Your answer?" Alex was stunned, did the raccoon really think that they would neogtiate with animals, "No, we don't negotiat-" he was cut off by a bullet in his shin.
"Considor your answer wisely or the next one is going through your throat" Alex started to take the raccoon seriously, and he thought about all the consequences and reactions his choice now would have. His thought were interrupted by the raccoon prodding his leg with the gun barrel. "Hurry up" Alex quickly thought of all his options and oppurtinites and came to one decision. He lunged at the raccoon, his fist swinging at the small, grey haired creature, but it was too fast and leapt back.
It smiled sadly then spoke "War it is then", it followed those words by levelling its gun at the Vice President and pulling the trigger, sending a single bullet, straight into and througth ihs throat.
