My favorite things of mine and the things other people like of mine are usually complete opposites. See: my poetry thread having no reviews. This is one of those things that I really dig and don't expect many others to.

I'm not so sure it's people not 'digging it' but rather when reviewing you, there's not much to say beside good work. I enjoyed reading this. The descriptions were brilliant, it flowed nicely and was a pleasant read. Only possible downside was I got to the end and just went "Oh, okay then." But for a story like this, you can't do anything about that.

Yeah, I considered giving it a more... purposeful conclusion, but it was going to interrupt the flow. And as you said, I think the flow was really crucial to it functioning.
