I'm stuck between three stories I have buzzing in my head at the moment.

Two are urban fantasies and one is a dark comedy/action-y type thing I wanted to try out.

Will probably wind up going with one of the urban fantasy plots, but I suppose there's still a bit of time left before I have to decide. Decisions, decisions!

I did so much planning tonight, holy shit. It's now 25 to 6 (yes, AM.) I have a roaring headache and I'm extremely exhausted. But I have a title and a synopsis up on my NaNo profile that I am happy with. I've got like four pages of planning and character bios.

So stoked to write this.

We got some local write-ins and and a write-all-night party at the library scheduled in my area. A girl I know from my uni is doing it, too, which is pretty cool. I'm thinking I'll do much better with people to harass/cheer/cajole me.

Over the last couple of days, I've been tidying up the already written parts that will survive the harsh but necessary sweeping storytelling cu- I mean progressive fair rewrite of the early chapters. Come November, I should be able to fly off from the starting blocks.

I think the Harry Potter film coming out at that time will be a great motivating boost, only thing that would have been better was a Word&Void film.

Feeling damned wonderful. There's a planning session at a mall near me tomorrow! Very excited! ;D

I just realized my novel's more Dieselpunk than Steampunk, but I always sort of knew that it was a Steampunk society progressing into a Dieselpunk one. A little conflicted about adding rayguns, as I'm going for something more "realistic" in terms of technology, and Chainswords/robot gunners are probably enough, but you never know. It'd be pretty cool picturing Jill (a badass criminal who'd probably be a tranny if she didn't like fucking guys so much) tossing aside a cigarette before wasting a guy with a disintegrator ray too, though, so there's that.

Oh, and I need help coming up with locations in the city!

I have a shopping place (Centre Nouveau), a City Park turned foretress by a bunch of rich gangsters (Anbar City Park), a mega-technology district (Dagda), a city center (The City Sphere), a place for the rich (Newmann's Road and "Blackheart Territory"), plenty of places for the poor (inumerable named areas), a main industrial center (Pre-war it's just called "Industrial Parks," but later it's referred to as "Vrikheid Territory," after the gang that occupies it), and a Church-owned part of the city (the self-explanatory Church District).

But it just ain't enough, given the chapters, and amount of places my characters need to be. Any ideas would be stupendously appreciated. Like, so much, I will give you, your children, your children's children, and your children's children's children blowjobs for the rest of all your lives (or oral, if whoever helps me happens to be a chick, and will have at least one daughter, who will have a daughter, who will have a daughter, who will have a daughter.)

Watching all three LotR has taken over my mind. Totally ditching my usual stuff here so this is going to be something completely different to last year. And since it's just something for me, I don't care if it end up a totally fraud LotR. But, at least I've made up one race of my own? But yeah... It's very LotR-ish. ... ... I blame Jackal for this! =P

I've not got much of an idea yet but I think I might split it into stories from several characters PoV's. So one person of each race/each place. Might make it easier next month so if one part comes to a stand still I can just move on to another part and write something completely different but for the same thing - even if it will mean more planning that I really don't have time to do.

I'm not liking my chances for next month! Two english exams and two maths exams, and my German teacher is going OTT about this piece of crappy coursework that I'm waaay behind on... I kinda should be revising right now >.>

'Remember' like, keeping you logged in all the time, or 'remember like, recognizing your password when you try to log in?
