How is that new "COD: Black-ops"? Worth the money?
Not entirely sure what I will be doing with the WWI flash-back, to be honest. It will be Alonzo's POV and not the bigger picture (means I cannot bugger up history too much XD) ... so yeahhhhh :]

There you go, Reffy. New excerpt.
And today could be the first day I don't write anything, unless I find some willpower, later today. Went out with some friends and threw off my routine for the day.

I managed to somehow eek out 1479 words, which puts me just in front of where I should be right now.

Got my daily requirement done with only 20 minutes to spare. I've managed to get 1,667 (or more) done every day so far :] Hoping to get a huge chunk written today (still way ahead of the curve!) Might go back and rework "The Wish" again too. (After app'ing for more jobs ... fun times!) Oh, and snippet! YAY!

If you liked MW2, you'd probably also like it, because it's like they had a baby. The campaign actually has a pretty good story, haven't gotten only much for the multiplayer, zombies is fun. Oh lord the Pentagon zombie level is lulz.

30,000.
And that's now two nights in a row where I've put in a single sustained night-time writing burst of 1400-1600 words. I've got to get back into routine tomorrow.

Congo ratties! :] Don't know if I will get minimum today. Having a bad day. Novel is lagging too >.> Well, not lagging, so much as missing action! Need something to blow up, please! >.>

Need something to blow up, please! >.> You don't have to hit the minimum for the rest of the month! And I wouldn't worry about it slowing down, sometimes the book benefits from having a slow stage. Look at Lord of the Rings, the Council of Elrond is a giant 30 odd pages chapter... and it's people talking. If you're a good enough writer you can make anything entertaining and interesting. And I haven't seen anything to suggest that you're not a talented writer. So stop worrying.

Its mostly plot-progression stuff and "sneakily-snuck-in-facts" and information for the reader. Going to hit another exciting flash-back soon enough.
I am regretting not using dialogue in the flash-backs though! I might need to edit it later and add it in. I wanted to keep the past clear of dialogue. Not entirely sure why now - I liked how I removed the dialogue brackets to aid the creepiness ... but it removes a lot of the impact that could have happened. Meh.

Just under 3,500 words today. To make up for the nothing yesterday. I'm glad that I managed to make it all up the day afterwards.
Edit: Also, I'm finally through the sort of reveal of the world. My Concerning Hobbits if you will. And it's exhausting to write because there's the constant fear that the reader will get bored or overwhelmed with all this information... hence why Lawrence breaks the two large passages by killing a couple of bobbies. And one more chapter and then some fresh blood is arriving, Natalie and then Vinny.
