I'd really want to do something with this. But just fuck my busy life at the moment, it drains so much drive out of me at the end of the day. Oh...and the fact I also don't have a computer at the moment. >.>
I know as soon as this semester is over through, I'm going to be on a fucking vehicle that's the baby of a train and a bulldowser and probably put whole days aside for writing.

Some people do another challenge like this ... write 50k over the course of a weekend. I kid you not. They pay to do it as well! I would never pay to put myself through that kind of madness!
Hope you do get some writing done, Radin :] Would be awesome to see you writing once more. I enjoyed what I did read from the last-last Cup.

The small ammount of writing I have been doing has been for a roleplay I started with RL friends. It's strange going from the RPer to GMing a thread, so much more work.
But I do want to get back into actual writing very soon.

Struggling again! >.< Oops! Dying to get back to writing Flash ... small, small stuff. Challenging and fun, small stuff. My safety blanket ... FLASH! The word count is taunting me on Alonzo ... and the amount of words I have left to go yet. Worrying again that it is boring! You cannot get bored with a Flash! You can with a novel. Ooooooh dear! Just set out to start writing my second Flash in as many days. Inspiration struck, a little bit :] I'll face the fear later with Alonzo >.< {I see many people's word counts have not moved. Jord, Taed, and Meleta most notably. Do not give up hope! C'mon guys!} Don't worry, I'm still here - just haven't updated my page in a while. I have job and kids and birthdays and soon the holidays and all sorts of stuff happening... kinda all at once? I'll update the count tonight... ish? XD |

Want to do another past moment ... but this time it isn't crucial to the story-line. It'll be a moment just to give people some idea on what he has been through ... but I don't know which to do or use! I don't know which past event is first after the Rebeca and Mum moment. I don't want it to be a short, flash in the pan, moment either - like I fear the Great Fire of London will be. I want it to be something really interesting! >.< |

(I saw a snippet last night in the chat and it was a delight to read, so you should have fun with that one!) I don't know of anybody else. Maybe you could hit up Alice for a snippet or something? Of course, I'd always appreciate a glance (but many people have already told me how much they love it - even if they haven't commented). So its not needed, here. And finally managed to complete the daily word count and then some. I need to have more no-WoW days.
So.. grand total of 2.5k now. Terribly slow, and I have no excuse but laziness, but it's a start. Hopefully I can somehow make up for the sloth. Somehow.

WOOT! Yeah Jackal! And no worries if you don't get the monthly word count in - not everyone works at a breakneck speed, and as long as you are in love with the idea/concept of what you're doing? You really can't go too far wrong. Besides, if I'm not mistaken, Tolkien took about twelve years to complete all three volumes of the Lord of the Rings, not including "The Hobbit," "The Silmarillion" and the "The Unfinished Tales." If you ask me, that was time very well spent. And thanks for the heads up, Ref, but Evern's piece? I already reviewed that a while back, snippets of verse included. XD I will take a peek at Alice's, though. She's one writer here who's work has really come a looooooong way! |
