Where Am I From?
Where Am I From? I am from the Isle of Emeralds I am from the Sloping Highlands I am from the vast Mediteranean Vineyards I am from The cold Cossack Mountains And I am also from the Dark Forests of Central Europe
I am from Ted and Stacy The pair that raised me And kindled my fire for learning so that it would be; Forever Burning Excellent Cooks of Homemade Italian Style Pizza(Mama Mia) And excellent chocolate macadamia nut cookies.
I am From Writng My Pen dancing across the paper, My Fingers flying across a keyboard An Old Dusty Box At the Back of My Closet Holding My Multiple Personalities My Avatars of- Courage Happiness Sarcasm As well as Great Evil and Anger. My creations, My extensions.
I am from Music, It is a source of Happiness, Sorrow, Anger, and Laughter. It opens my mind and my inner self, More so than my weaving and dancing pen could ever accomplish The beautiful symphonies of Beethoven To the dark grimy sounds of Blues inspired Metal. When I play Or when I listen I remember memories Of Simpler Days When all I cared about was meeting with friends, climbing trees, and causing trouble. Alas those days are gone And with Them, The carefree young blue eyed boy.
first time doing something other then couplets....

Loved it, mate. I can see why you got a perfect score! I wish I had anything productive to add, but, honestly, I don't.

This was really awesome. I'm assuming that the narrator in the poem is you? If so, I feel like I know you quite well just from those few short lines.
I really liked the repetition. Indeed, I would have left out the "and" and "also" in the line "And I am also from the Dark Forests of Central Europe." It felt more prosaic than poetic, I think. In prose, of course, you wouldn't want to repeat the same like 5 times (or even 2 or 3 or 4!) but in poetry, it works.
Well done
