Though Dranada has only seem limited pouches on conflict, the Dranadian people claim to have been faced in combat many times in their homeland. While the validity of this is not certain, they do seem to have long-standing military traditions and many advanced fighting techniques that suggest the Dranadian Imperial Guard has been met in battle before.
Core Troops
Javelins -- Javelin throwers made up the core troops of Dranada's Imperial Guard. With long, tall shields and sleek, thin spears the Javelin throwers are not only efficient but elusive and well defended.
Scouts -- Though they could be called infantrymen, the Dranadian close combat fighters are more equivalent to scouts of the rest of the world, using elusive tactics, light armor, and small weaponry.
Bowmen -- Dranadian bowmen can deliver some of the fastest and most accurate firing known. They utilize the shortbow by gathering in large groups and firing many rounds at once onto a concentration of a single target at a time.
Additional Troops
Gunners -- Dranadian gunners use dart-based blowguns to effectively work as living, thinking traps. Positioned with heavy camouflage, a gunner will fire a dart with such velocity that an enemy would have little chance at spotting the direction from which it came without inspecting the angle of the dart -- and that rarely is possible before the powerful toxins kick in and another dart is fired.
Knifemen -- Using large machete-like blades, knifemen represent a primitive form of jungle combat which is some of the most effective guerilla warfare in the world.
Guardsmen -- The official guardsmen of the Dranada Imperial Guard use long halberts in which they are very rigorously trained. Though they are small in numbers, even a pair of guardsmen would hold off a unit of infantrymen with enough time for backup.
Misc. Defense
Shaman -- Though shaman are not known to get involved with conflicts, it is widely accepted that they possess abilities beyond those of most others and it is assumed that, in a time of dire need, the shamans would take part in conflict.
Blackblade -- The Blackblade have an interesting relationship with Dranada, and many hypothesize that if Dranada were to get involved in warfare, the Blackblade buccaneers may fight for their favor.
Headhunters -- Some of the Dranadians have returned to the more primitive and primal practices from their homeland. These tribal and primitive warriors may fight alongside scouts and javelin throwers in defense of Dranada.
