Weebly post made me do the math to realize just how easily I'm going to finish the -entirety- of the novel by the end of the year.
Awesome.

Heh.
I'm going to edit a chapter a day, then once I've gone through them all, go through them again until I can't find anything that I can change.

A very happy new weebly is up.
And considering NaNo is nearly over... and I'm still writing... I won't be posting here every time I update for now on.
But if you're still interested, I'm going to keep updating the weebly, and you can keep checking it (link's still in the sig) if you'd like :]

I'm still interested Keep updating weebly. I'm going to need help and encouragement on editing. Think your notes might help me or make me feel better as I trawl through my mistakes. Found a friend to read my novel and give me feedback but need to do first edit before she'll look at it.

Found a friend to read my novel and give me feedback but need to do first edit before she'll look at it. Good stuff. Just make sure she's not the type to tell you it's great, even if it has things that need fixed. Ensure she'll be honest, and you should be good.

Oh - she'll be honest. Probably painfully so. She's not the type to bullshit and it'll be obvious if she is.

GO BLOOD! You're gettin' damn close! I'm hoping the last 5K words will come fast. I'll cover my last big battle scene with two chapters, then use whatever I have left to do an epilogue or something.

Congrats to all Editing is currently getting well under way. On second Chapter already. Keep changing little things like adding a "then" or missing commas. Word count has gone up 300, and that is without me padding/beefing it up. Which I don't think it needs beefing. Turns out it was pretty well written the first time around, so editing is easy. Still learning too! Will be using Createspace proof-copy offer. Still not sure about publishing though. Friends who've read excerpts all say go for it! Boosting my ego something terrible! Heh. I've also had an awesome idea (not sure if I'll do it this year) IF it's not too expensive to get proof-copy from Createspace, then I might round-up all my short stories from the year and have them printed for a personal book. Not published - just proof-copy. Then when I'm running low on ideas I'll have a book I can flip through. Even if they are unfinished pieces of work it'll be good brain-food. Nice momentum from the year and forever saved in a book!

So anyone else already thinking about this year's NaNo? XD Maaaaybe >.> heh. Not sure if I'll visit Bel-Gonows again though. "The Child" was a good exercise but is bloody awful. I've stopped editing it. Got loads of ideas floating around with Qwibeth though

Yeah, I don't have a plan yet, but brainstorming for it has -definitely- begun.

I've considered it, but I can barely find time for short stories. I don't think I could make my life conform to regiment required by Nano.

I've considered it, but I can barely find time for short stories. I don't think I could make my life conform to regiment required by Nano. I don't plan to do it quite to their regiment this year, either, honestly. 50k isn't enough for a real 'novel', so adapting is kind of necessary if you want to write the full deal.
